A Request From The DVLA For Survey Participants

Ministers have tasked DVLA with abolishing the driving licence counterpart by 2015. We realise this change will have an impact on customers so we need to ensure we fully consider the needs and views of those who will be affected. This will help us take account of the wider implications and have a clearer understanding of what our priorities should be.

As part of the work we are undertaking to understand the impact abolition of the counterpart will have on stakeholders we are carrying out a survey. We would be very interested in knowing more about: how you currently use the counterpart; how you would use a digital enquiry service and how this change would be dealt with by your organisation.   We would also be interested in any statistics you may have about the number of counterpart checks you currently undertake.

The survey can be found at https://www.snapsurveys.com/wh/s.asp?k=138985888658 .  Please forward this message on to any colleagues that may be interested as we would welcome as many views as possible.

The survey will also be available on the DVLA Twitter page (Twitter: @dvlagovuk) from 31st January.
