BVSF AdministrationThe work of the BVSF is administered by a small Secretariat headed by a Chairman/Secretary General who acts as the voice of the industry in discussions affecting its members and who represents their interests on matters which arise of concern to the industry. It is also the role of Secretary General to enforce the terms of the Rules and Regulations applicable to its members. The operation of the BVSF is overseen by a Management Committee appointed by the members. Alan GreenouffChairman and Secretary General Alan's career spans 40 years in the insurance world. He retired as Motor, Liability & Accident Manager of the Association of British Insurers in 1993 shortly after which he established and became CEO of the Vehicle Security Installation Board. In 1998 he was approached by the vehicle salvage industry and established at their request the BVSF when he became Secretary General. After one year he succeeded Lord Montague of Beaulieu as Chairman of the Federation. Sue MorganManager Sue is the Manager of the BVSF and is responsible for the day to day running of the Federation including the administration of the accounts. She also provides secretarial services for the Chairman/Secretary General. Sue has been with the BVSF since its establishment in 1998 and performs amongst many other tasks, a major role in the arrangements for its meetings, particularly the AGM and annual Seminar.
