F gas qualification is required by end of next month and the CoTC qualification is February 2011

Time is running out for companies depoluting vehicles that have air con fitted  if the operatives have not been trained and tested. After the 4th July 2010 only qualified persons can legally remove and handle the refrigerant gas.

 CoTC training and F Gas training that are currently in place and that have been advertised by both articles in the Magazine and email circulars.

At the Management Committee meeting yesterday a degree of surprise was expressed by the committee re the comparitive few companies that appear to have taken up the opportunity of these training schemes. (Please ignore this message if you are "one of the few")

Far be it for me to exert pressure at this time but it should be noted that neither of these qualifications are "optional", indeed the F gas qualification is required by next month and the CoTC qualification is February 2011, which of course sounds a long way off but not only do you need to complete the training but then book, take and indeed pass the WAMITAB examination within that time scale.
