Just a few days until CARS 2014!

With CARS 2014 just a few days away, and pre-registration having already surpassed 2012 figures, the show is shaping up to be the most exciting event in the ELV, metals and related materials recycling calendar!

As well as the packed two day programme, relaxing with friends, networking and unwinding at the end of the day plays a key role in the event - which is why a full evening of food, drink (including beer) and entertainment on Thursday 5 June is included in the price of your ticket!

SIMS METAL NETWORKING PAVILION
The Pavilion will host an evening of entertainment - with guests treated to a range of local beers, courtesy of 1st Choice Spares and gala dinner thanks to AWT Recycling Ltd.

AWARDS CEREMONY
The BVSF will be presenting the Alan Greenouff Award to an individual from the membership who has made an outstanding contribution to both the BVSF and the salvage industry as a whole during their career.

COMEDIAN
Local comic Gary Marshall will also be performing at the show. Gary has over 20 years' experience in the business, and is one the most popular comics on the after-dinner circuit – having previously appeared with numerous sporting greats including Sir Bobby Charlton, Will Carling and Sir Ian Botham.

CHARITY AUCTION
There will be a range of lots available to bid for, including: dinner vouchers; a selection of prints including a pencil sketch of Marylebone Cricket Club, signed by a century of test cricketers; and, two Sennebogen scrap handler models. It is in aid of Rett UK and the Doncaster-based Firefly Cancer Awareness & Support. We urge visitors to dig deep for these incredible causes – the previous show saw the generosity of visitors raise an impressive £15,000!

BVSF are proud supporters of the show, and we will also be exhibiting on stand E13 in the indoor exhibition area. It would be good to see a strong BVSF contingent there. You can register for tickets on the CARS website, www.cars-expo.com. Pre-registering for tickets online saves you £20 off the full price, so make sure you don’t miss out!

Thank you.
